I help busy people get unstuck and make intelligent use of their websites. I also help creative people focus and get their projects done.
- Jeff King
Work is an art form like music or painting. Through work, it is possible to achieve the same depth of self-expression and human connection as in any other art form. Work is a life-sustaining activity that supports our existence, creates community and contributes meaning to life.
Using websites and online activities as a starting point, I help my clients accomplish their work with greater efficiency, clearer thinking and fewer roadblocks. I help my clients improve their customer relationships, sell more, and measure the results of their marketing efforts.
Using critical thinking when all variables are known, and creative thinking when not all variables are known, I help my clients make better decisions regarding their work and their businesses.
I enjoy analyzing and improving systems and actively look for opportunities to help my clients transcend the average “business” mindset and transform their work into an art form.
A diverse set of life experiences adds value to my core services. My academic background is in Philosophy, and every day I draw upon the practice of critical thinking in order to solve problems and create incremental improvements in the lives of each client I work with.
As a student of business and art I am committed to lifelong learning. I am currently blogging about the experience of learning how to develop mobile apps. I am also working with my business partner, Jim Thomas, on a system of business coaching that draws on principles of musical composition and performance to inject new levels of confidence and creativity into any business process.
I enjoy writing music as an additional creative outlet, and have had the privilege of working with some excellent musicians, artists and music business people on critically acclaimed projects. I’ve learned many lessons from the music industry that I put into practice with my web and consulting clients in both corporate and small business settings.
I look forward to talking with you about your work. If you are ready to make things happen but have been too busy to get started, it only takes two minutes to get the ball rolling. A short email or quick call is the first step. Let’s get in touch. Maybe I can help.
